All training courses provided by LP MHE Training are delivered on-site at the customer’s premises unless otherwise agreed in writing. Training can be booked by contacting us through our website, by email or by telephone. Before confirming a booking, we will discuss your requirements to ensure the most suitable course is recommended for your operators, workplace and equipment.

To prepare an accurate quotation and organise the training, customers may be asked to provide information including, but not limited to, the training address, the type and model of the truck or equipment, the number of candidates, the level of operator experience, preferred training dates and any relevant site-specific information. Providing accurate information helps us deliver the correct course and ensures training is completed safely and efficiently.

A booking will only be considered confirmed once the training details have been agreed by both parties. Any quotation provided by LP MHE Training is based on the information supplied at the time of enquiry. If there are significant changes to the number of candidates, equipment, training location, course requirements or other agreed details before the training date, we reserve the right to review and amend the quotation where necessary. Any changes will always be discussed with the customer before the training takes place.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the training location, equipment and candidates are available on the agreed training dates. If there are any changes to the booking after confirmation, including changes to candidate numbers, equipment, site location or course requirements, customers should notify LP MHE Training as soon as reasonably possible so that suitable arrangements can be made.

Where applicable, customers should ensure that operators attending refresher, conversion or experienced operator courses hold previous certification or can demonstrate relevant operating experience. If, upon arrival, LP MHE Training determines that the course originally booked is not suitable for the candidates’ actual level of experience or operational requirements, we reserve the right to recommend an alternative course or adjust the course duration to ensure training is delivered safely, effectively and in accordance with recognised industry training standards. Any additional costs or changes to the training schedule will always be discussed and agreed with the customer before the training continues.

LP MHE Training reserves the right to decline, postpone or amend a booking where the information provided is inaccurate, the agreed training conditions cannot be met, or where continuing with the training would compromise safety, quality or compliance with recognised industry training standards.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment for training services is due within 24 hours of the invoice being issued. LP MHE Training accepts payment by bank transfer or any other payment method agreed with the customer before the training takes place.

For business customers, invoices may be issued before or after the training has been completed, depending on the agreement made at the time of booking. Customers are responsible for ensuring that payment is made within the agreed payment period. Training certificates and related documentation will normally be issued within 24–48 working hours after full payment has been received.

LP MHE Training reserves the right to request full or partial payment in advance for certain bookings, including but not limited to new customers, large group bookings or training requiring significant travel or preparation. Any such requirement will always be discussed and agreed before the booking is confirmed.

All quotations provided by LP MHE Training are based on the information supplied by the customer at the time of enquiry. If the scope of the training changes before or during the course, including changes to the number of candidates, equipment, location or training requirements, we reserve the right to review and amend the quotation accordingly. Any additional charges will always be explained and agreed with the customer before they are applied.

Where payment is not received within the agreed payment period, LP MHE Training reserves the right to withhold training certificates, training records and any future bookings until all outstanding amounts have been paid in full.

LP MHE Training is not VAT registered. Unless otherwise stated, all quotations and invoices are provided without VAT.

Any pricing errors, administrative mistakes or incorrect information identified before payment has been received will be corrected and discussed with the customer before the invoice is settled.

Customers may cancel or reschedule a confirmed training course by providing written notice by email or by any other agreed method of communication. LP MHE Training understands that unexpected circumstances can arise and will always aim to work with customers in a fair, professional and reasonable manner whenever changes to a booking are required.

Where a cancellation or request to reschedule is received 48 hours or more before the agreed training date, no cancellation charge will normally apply. Every reasonable effort will be made to arrange an alternative training date that is convenient for both parties, subject to instructor availability.

Where a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the agreed training date, LP MHE Training reserves the right to charge 50% of the agreed training fee, as the training date has been reserved exclusively for the customer and it may not be possible to offer that date to another client at short notice.

If the training is cancelled on the scheduled day, or if the instructor is unable to deliver the training because the customer has failed to provide access to the site, suitable equipment, the agreed number of candidates, a safe training environment or any other essential arrangements previously agreed, LP MHE Training reserves the right to charge 100% of the agreed training fee. This reflects the instructor’s time, travel expenses, preparation and the loss of a reserved training day.

Should training be interrupted or unable to proceed due to unsafe working conditions, defective or unsuitable equipment, adverse site conditions or any other circumstance that may compromise health, safety or the quality of the training, LP MHE Training reserves the right to postpone, suspend or terminate the training until the issues have been resolved. Where possible, an alternative training date will be agreed with the customer.

Any requests to change the training location, equipment, number of candidates or course requirements should be made as early as possible. Significant changes may affect the course duration, quotation or instructor requirements, and any amendments will always be discussed and agreed before the training takes place.

LP MHE Training will always make every reasonable effort to work with our customers to find a practical solution whenever unforeseen circumstances arise. Our aim is to build long-term relationships based on fairness, professionalism, mutual respect and clear communication.

Candidates are expected to follow all reasonable instructions provided by the instructor and to operate the equipment safely and responsibly at all times. Any candidate who fails to follow instructions, deliberately operates equipment in an unsafe manner, behaves irresponsibly or acts in a way that places themselves, other candidates, the instructor or any other person at risk may be removed from the training course immediately.

LP MHE Training reserves the right to suspend or terminate a candidate’s participation where their behaviour compromises health and safety or prevents the training from being delivered safely and effectively. In such circumstances, the customer or employer will be informed immediately. Removal from the course for safety reasons will not automatically entitle the customer to a refund, replacement training or the issue of a certificate.

Safety will always take priority over the completion of the training course. LP MHE Training will never continue practical training where doing so could place any person at unnecessary risk. We are committed to delivering professional, safe and high-quality training, and every decision made during a course will always place the safety of candidates, instructors and everyone on site first.

Training certificates will only be issued to candidates who have successfully completed the required training and assessment in accordance with the relevant training standards. Successful completion of a course does not automatically entitle a candidate to receive a certificate if the conditions set out in these Terms & Conditions have not been met.

Certificates will only be issued after LP MHE Training has received full payment for the training course. No certificates, training records or related documentation will be released until the outstanding balance has been paid in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing before the training takes place.

Once full payment has been received, certificates will normally be issued within 24–48 working hours. While every effort will be made to issue certificates as quickly as possible, this timeframe may vary during weekends, public holidays or other exceptional circumstances.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all candidate information provided for the preparation of certificates is accurate and complete. LP MHE Training cannot accept responsibility for delays or additional administration resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer. Any requested amendments after certificates have been issued may be subject to an administrative charge where applicable.

Certificates confirm that the candidate has successfully completed the training and assessment on the date of the course. It remains the employer’s responsibility to determine whether an operator is authorised to operate equipment within their own workplace, taking into account site-specific procedures, supervision and ongoing competence.

LP MHE Training reserves the right to withhold certificates where payment remains outstanding, where false or misleading information has been provided, or where the training could not be completed due to circumstances beyond the instructor’s control.

Certificates will not be issued until full payment has been received. By confirming a booking with LP MHE Training, the customer acknowledges and accepts that the release of all certificates, training records and related documentation is strictly conditional upon full payment being received. This policy forms part of our standard Terms & Conditions and applies to all training courses unless otherwise agreed in writing before the training takes place.

LP MHE Training is committed to delivering professional, safe and high-quality training in accordance with current UK legislation, recognised industry guidance and accepted best practice. We will exercise reasonable care and skill in the delivery of all training services and will always aim to provide a safe and professional learning environment for every candidate.

Whilst every reasonable effort is made to ensure the successful delivery of each training course, LP MHE Training cannot accept responsibility for delays, interruptions or the cancellation of training caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, power failures, site restrictions, equipment failure or any other unforeseen event that prevents the training from being delivered safely.

Customers remain responsible for ensuring that the training location, equipment, working environment and all site-specific safety arrangements are suitable for the delivery of the training. LP MHE Training accepts no liability for accidents, damage or losses arising from unsafe equipment, unsafe working conditions or the customer’s failure to comply with applicable health and safety requirements.

The employer remains responsible for authorising operators to use workplace equipment following the completion of training and for ensuring that appropriate supervision, familiarisation and ongoing monitoring are provided. The issue of a training certificate confirms successful completion of the training and assessment only and does not replace the employer’s legal responsibilities under current health and safety legislation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LP MHE Training shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or financial losses arising from the use of our training services. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall limit or exclude liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Any concerns regarding the quality of our training or the services provided should be reported to LP MHE Training as soon as reasonably practicable. We are committed to resolving concerns professionally, fairly and promptly and will always work with our customers to reach a reasonable solution wherever possible.

By confirming a booking with LP MHE Training, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions are designed to protect both LP MHE Training and our customers by ensuring that every training course is delivered safely, professionally and to the highest possible standard.

Where any individual terms have been agreed separately in writing between LP MHE Training and the customer, those agreed terms shall take precedence over the relevant sections of these Terms & Conditions. All other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Thank you for choosing LP MHE Training. We appreciate your trust in our services and look forward to delivering safe, professional and high-quality training for your business.
